We recommend that you simply attempt it yourself, that is how you learn. Practice makes perfect of course! In any case, you can still inquire someone to perform the spell for you, but it isn't a guarantee that they will do it though, and don't be vexed in the event that you do not discover what you are trying to find.
Your spells could be failing for numerous reasons. Perhaps you utilized the incorrect ingredients, you were not concentrated on the task at hand, or you have said the chant incorrectly. For assistance, you can browse through the Witch's Academy or inquire tips within the forums!
They can be if you do not know what you are doing. For instance, you could consume something that you could have an allergy for, or you could accidentally burn yourself or something else. We suggest that you take precautions for each spell or ritual that you perform. Before lighting a candle, make sure you place it somewhere or on something to where it won't fall over or so you won't burn yourself. Know what you are allergic to before you mess with herbs or material that could seriously harm you.
That wouldn't be recommended. You need to research deeper into that spell and to think if it is necessary to cast. Otherwise, consequences may hit you. It is best to study the spell, the ingredients needed, think about the chant and the location and everything that would make the spell successful.
Most of the spells posted on this site are, indeed, real. However, there may be some that aren't and are mainly for entertainment purposes. Those types of spells are mainly found in the fantasy category.
Yes! You certainly can. You may contribute any spell that you'd like. If a category is missing for the spell you want to add, you may either alert an Admin or you may post it in the Miscellaneous section for the time.
Unless they tell you, there is almost no way of knowing for sure if you are under someone's spell. If you feel like you are surrounded by negativity, which can be the result of someone performing a spell around you, then you can perform some banishing or cleansing or protection spells, or rituals, until the negativity has passed.
One way to do this would be to cast a circle before commencing with the spell or ritual. However, you should be fine whether you do it not as long as you aren't casting spells that could do harm. If anything, you could try casting a simple protection spell around you beforehand and that could also help in the process.

The most likely reasons for this are: you entered an incorrect username or password (check the e-mail you were sent when you first registered) or the administrator has deleted your account for some reason. If it is the latter case then perhaps you did not post anything? It is usual for boards to periodically remove users who have not posted anything so as to reduce the size of the database. Try registering again and get involved in discussions.
First check that you are entering the correct username and password. If they are okay then one of two things may have happened: if COPPA support is enabled and you clicked the I am under 13 years old link while registering then you will have to follow the instructions you received. If this is not the case then maybe your account need activating. Some boards will require all new registrations be activated, either by yourself or by the administrator before you can log on. When you registered it would have told you whether activation was required. If you were sent an e-mail then follow the instructions; if you did not receive the e-mail then check that your e-mail address is valid. One reason activation is used is to reduce the possibility of rogue users abusing the board anonymously. If you are sure the e-mail address you used is valid then try contacting the board administrator.
To join a usergroup click the usergroup link on the page header and you can then view all usergroups. Not all groups are open access -- some are closed and some may even have hidden memberships. If the board is open then you can request to join it by clicking the appropriate button. The user group moderator will need to approve your request; they may ask why you want to join the group. Please do not pester a group moderator if they turn your request down -- they will have their reasons.
Of course not! You can register for free and it will always be that way!
