Diving into Meditation- Mindfulness meditation: assists you with focusing on the present time (what is happening right now).
- Meditations assist us with relaxing and taking control of our emotions. It will also help us become better decision makers, relive stress, lower blood pressure.
- Meditation helps to exercise our brain.
- Thinking about how you feel after an exercise is important. As it feels really good to be relaxed and clear of negative energies, it will become addicting and you will want to feel this way all the time.
- Try not to feel "impatient" or "doubt" the meditative techniques. The results will come within time, and it will be worth it. Thinking negative is a barrier that could stop the meditations from succeeding.
- If you are too tired to meditate, you can meditate while going to sleep. Lay down, close your eyes, focus on your breathing, eventually you may go to sleep while doing this but you may wake up feeling great!
Do I need meditation?- If you do not have time for meditation, just stand where you are (or sit), and just breathe in and out slowly. Try to focus on your breathing while attempting to relax yourself and your mind from the rough and tiring day.
- Meditation can help your brain focus and concentrate on your goals that you are working towards. Doing this will allow yourself a better and greater chance at your goals being successful.
- Meditating can help enhance the sensitivity of other surrounding energies, being more alert.
- Meditation can help you control your emotions better and clearing out the negative thoughts and energies from your mind.
- "Clearing your mind" does not entirely mean to become totally "blank". Clearing out all negative thoughts that prevent your from being at full happiness.
A meditation guide- Meditation can help you prepare for spells, rituals, astral projecting, etc.
- Be careful how you are meditating, and make sure you won't have the urge to fall asleep during meditation unless you are getting ready to go to sleep (meditating as you are going to sleep is something that may help you fall asleep faster and ease your mind from a long day)
- Make sure your preferred environment for meditating is a place where you feel safe, calm, and relaxed.
- A meditative schedule is recommended or suggested, but not mandatory. It may help you stay on track and fit in with your other work, school, or life schedules.
- Stretching before and/or after meditating is also a good idea to release tension in your muscles.
- Meditating for 5 or 20 minutes a day, perhaps longer if you prefer, is also a good idea so it will give you enough time to relax, ease your mind, and release the negative tension from your mind. (The meditation duration is entirely up to you)
- Examples of meditating while standing up include: dancing, walking, yoga, painting, exercising, cleaning, and so many more!
Grounding & Visualization Meditations- Grounding: Getting in touch with your surroundings and yourself. Visualization meditations is a great way to ground yourself.
- Rituals and spells can be preformed either before, during, or after grounding yourself.
- You can preform this meditation, or spells, with friends as everyone could benefit from it. Especially if you are planning on preforming a ritual or spell together.
Choosing the correct meditations- 6 common types of meditating: Mindfulness, spiritual, mantra, transcendental, movement, focused.
- Mindfulness: focused on thoughts and emotions (present time).
- Spiritual: Becoming more aware of yourself, letting go of the past. Can be used to reflex on the silence.
- Using any of our five senses. Focus on an object, a sound, etc. (Examples: counting, music, eating, staring(at an object))
- Movement: involves any type of moving around (jogging, dancing, gardening, etc)
- Mantra: Focusing on one word to clear your mind ("OM" or "PEACE").
- Transcendental: Similar to Mantra but saying the specific word inside your head, focusing on the silence.
- Yoga, chakra, and guided are some other kinds of meditations.
