Psychic abilities are abilities beyond your five senses that are part of your Spirit. People use psychic abilities to access information beyond what they can see, hear, touch, taste, or smell. Psychic experiences are a natural part of our everyday lives. Learning psychic abilities can help a person access any kind of information that may help guide them in life, talk to spirits, and be more aware of the energy around them. Everyone is psychic, but some people may have stronger abilities than others. Developing your psychic abilities takes practice using meditation techniques, keep trying and you may develop skills to connect with the inner guidance that will help you in your life's decisions and gain awareness of the universe. People often have difficulty accepting their psychic abilities because it can be difficult to distinguish psychic sights, sounds, and sensations from the imagination of the conscious mind. Psychic abilities involve using your senses and being aware of your surroundings, tune into the things that are not visible to the physical eye. People often have a "gut feeling" or an inner voice/feeling that tells them when something is wrong and that is a psychic experience. The best way to develop psychic abilities is to use meditation that will help you relax your thoughts and tune your awareness to the sounds of the universe like the birds singing. Each of us can develop psychic abilities by relaxing and tuning into the world around us.
When tuning into your psychic abilities, take the time to relax and adjust your breathing. Close your eyes and focus your attention on your breathing. As you breathe deeply in and out, feel the tension in your body being released with each out-breath. Visualize a white light surrounding you, infusing you with peace and protection. Let the white light feel like a waterfall flowing through your body and mind releasing the tension.
Here is a simple exercise to develop your psychic abilities:
Seat yourself in a comfortable place where you can easily write, observe people and see your timer or clock. You may choose to sit at a park, library, or a shop. Pick a person to observe, set your timer for thirty seconds and begin writing. Once the thirty seconds is up, set your timer for thirty seconds and pick another person to observe. Observe ten people during a span of five minutes. Write down any impressions you get from each person, whether you can observe it or not. It may be easier to start writing what you observe about the person such as their physical appearance and activity that they are doing. Don't worry if the impressions are correct or not. Write as much as you can and as fast as you can. Write what comes up in your mind without judgment.
It doesn't matter if any of your descriptions, especially those where you use your psychic senses are actually correct. The goal of this exercise is to practice being aware of your surroundings and accessing information using your abilities. The more you practice, the more accurate your observations and impressions will become. The important thing is to not judge yourself on the correctness of your observations, but try your best to sense what each person is like, With practice over time, your observations will become more accurate and you will be able to look at people and know their personality.
