Welcome to Witchcraft Year 2!

Syllabus
Description:
This year, when studying Witchcraft, you will be learning a variety of new topics introduced to the Witch's Academy. You will be learning about ways of spells and rituals casting that are performed and a deep discussion on Wiccan holidays and why they are celebrated. Along with that, you will also learn about the Wiccan calendar versus the original 12-month calendar. This included the major differences between the two. Other topics may include the elements and the risks when playing this type of magik, going into deeper details about the magik practice of "elemental magik".

Course Learning Outcomes: Students who have successfully completed this course will be able to:
- Explain each element in detail: the meaning, what it stands for, and how they are used.
- Explain the difference between a "spell" and a "ritual"
- List at least a few holidays that Wiccans celebrate annually
- List and explain some of the materials that are used when spellcasting

Grading Scale:
A: 90 - 100
B: 80 - 89
C: 70 - 79
D: 60 - 69
F: 50 - Below

Successful completion of this course required a grade of at least 60% or better overall. If a student obtains a letter lower than the required grade, then that student will fail the course overall. The student is permitted to taking the class again if they wish and then their roster will then be cleared and reset for the student(s).

Class Standards

Attendance:
Every student should be expected to attend the "Witch's Academy" once every month, at least. If you don't log in and attend the class within 3-4 months, your student file will be taken out of the class for the time at hand. If you decide to come back, you can private message us and we can put you back in the roster so you can continue your lessons.

Retakes/extra credit:
In the future, retakes and extra credit might be available but depends on the situation at hand and on the final decision made by the instructor during that time. Therefore, this is a possibility.

Homework:
The homework in the class will be completed accordingly. You won't get any busy work from the instructors. Usually, the homework will just be you answering some questions, writing some sentences, or explaining how you felt after your meditation exercises. The assignments will not ask for more than a paragraph unless that is what it takes for you to complete the task in its entirety. Some might be optional and others might go towards your grade.

Likely subjects to edits by the instructor
