Hello everyone! Happy Valentines day!
A while back, Valentines day used to be a month to celebrate Lupercalia before it became the month celebrating Spring and fertility. A while later, a man named Gelasius decided to declare Valentine the saint of lovers, and therefore, made the celebrate of his day, the 14th of February every year. There has been stories about who Valentine really was but nobody knows how true they are, such as the story about how he fell in love with a girl while imprisoned and then sent her a love letter, signed by his name, before he was executed.
Either way, it is a great day to be celebrating the holiday of love and affections towards those that you love and care about. I hope everyone has a great and safe day!
