Materials:
A large onion
A vegetable knife

Steps:

Remove the outer layer of the onion and say: "I am shedding all that hurts my health. As the layers of hurt and pain fall away, so do I heal and thrive."

With the knife, scratch a representative name or image of your health condition on the onion and repeat the words above three times.

Bury the onion in the ground outside and on it scatter some flower or bird seeds, planting the flowers and letting them take root or letting the birds take the seeds. Say "New life arises from the old, as growth unfolds, the old ailments fade away and health and healing are here to stay."

If your onion starts to grow, let it grow and imagine yourself growing up from the negative emotions of the ground and reaching up to touch the sun, becoming stronger and healthier every day.
